Sticky mirror on leicaflex

The new leicaflex I just got for free seems to have a sticky mirror. Any tips on how I might fix it? I got 21,35,50 and 135 lenses with it so is like to play with it but it sticks most of the time on slow speeds then if I bump it up to 2000 it immediately unsticking. A cla is $185 but I'm not sure I want to put they into the body when I'm halfway thinking I might just sell off the lenses at some point.

Does it have a foam mirror buffer? If so it's likely getting gummy/sticky.

Thing is in the last couple of months I bought a contax g1 with 45 and 90 lenses. I had Mark Hama cla my canonet ql-17 GIII and my Yashica GSN. Had Greg Weber cla my Konica Auto S2 and replace the meter and acquired one or two other cheap cameras like the Anscomark M with three lenses. I need to stop for a while.

Jeff there is no cure for GAS. Just accept it. Besides the world is counting on you to stimulate the economy so do not disappoint.

there is no foam mirror bumper in a leicaflex, it is mechanically damped -- CLA is needed.

But if it costs too much then I join the crowd offering to take that paperweight off your hands ... heck, I'll give you a double sawbuck to sweeten the deal...
