Steve's Camera Repair in Los Angeles?

Does anybody have any recent experience with Steve's Camera Service in Los Angeles?

My Leica M4-P needs routine maintenance - the slow shutter speeds are very much too slow, everything else seems fine.

I have had free work done by them.
I have had some work that needed to be redone, and they stepped up and corrected the problem.
I have had very good work done but them.
The are up the block from Samys Culver City and Samys sent me to Steve's Camera.
I am happy with them.

I last had large format shutters serviced by Steve about 5 years ago. He wasn’t the cheapest but did great work and beat his promised due-date. I have complete faith in them and like the fact that I can talk to them directly.

And like Sirius... some free work too that they could have charged and I would have gladly paid. Two years ago... a Nikon FE rewind that came apart and I couldn’t figure out how to reassemble.

When I got my Rolleiflex 2.8gx they fixed extremely difficult to turn shutter and aperture dials. Harry Fleenor would not even look at the kamera! (I’m local to both)
