Looking East: A Photographic Exhibition from Steve McCurry
Looking East is an exhibition of stunning photographs by Steve McCurry, known all over the world for his enduring and beautiful photographs of the landscapes and cultures of Central and Southeast Asia. The collection includes iconic images, such as the green-eyed Afghan girl featured in National Geographic magazine, as well as poignant portraits of children, pilgrims, monks, miners, and travelers McCurry encountered on his journeys throughout Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Tibet, and Myanmar (Burma).
General admission is $9, seniors (60+) and students and military with valid I.D. are $7, and children ages 5-12 are $6. Historical Society Members, Orange County employees, and children 4 and under are free.
The History Center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
