The way I feel, I do the same when I see my own. It's like a weird, crazy maniacal laugh, followed by sobbing....

Just to get a little bit back on track, from what I've read, Stephen isn't a naturalist

Hmmm. I'd feel very imposed upon if a fully dressed guy approached me on the beach to get my picture. I might say to him "First, take all of your clothes off. Second, put sunscreen SPF 50 on everywhere - including your willie. Third, give me a written promise that the images will never appear on the internet".

And yeah, I'm in remission for the melanoma that dang near got me last year. I'm in favor of seeing all exposed skin getting the SPF 50 treatment.

He spent a long time at the beach to get to know the people there. He didn't hide the fact that he wanted to take photos. He said that he did eventually try to be there nude once and they told him they didn't want him to do that, because it would be like having your doctor nude. To me, that shows they understood he was not really part of their community as an equal member but was nevertheless someone they knew and respected. It's not that he didn't become friends with them - it's that he was always a photographer there.

The nude beach photos is just one project in many he has done.
