Excellent work, I like the way he has composed his images in the square frame using the diagonal, and the way he uses spacial relationships of various planes. I too shoot portraits on M/F 6x6 and can appreciate how impressive his work is.

Amazing stuff. Thanks for the link.

Indeed, Blaze-on

Not only the quality of his images.
But also the quantity.

He works for a local newspaper here an "each" week-end, about 3 to 5 images are illustrating an assay.

Off-course I take most of them in my scrap-books "Images that I would taken myself"...

I presume, It will not take long time before he belongs to the Magnum photographers although he dislike publicity...

I believe he's represented by Network Photographers in the UK - or he certainly was a few years ago. We featured him in Black & White Photography back in 2001. It was a fantastic - and extremely funny - body of work he'd produced with a Swiss photographer, Robert Huber, where they both dressed up as Elvis Presley and took photographs of each other as they travelled across America. An inspired idea, but the best thing about it was that the photographs were far from gimmicky, they were actually really strong images in their own right.

Thanks for alerting us to his website - maybe it's time for a follow-up feature.

His catalog PRESENT is a must-have, little-known here in the States!
