Just picked up a Steky IIIB, and I'd like to actually use it. It has one 16mm cartridge on the take-up side, which (I'm hoping) is exposed.

Problem is, I need either an empty 16mm cartridge to load, or a loaded cartridge. Anyone know where I could find either? Also, how do I open the cartridge that's there?

I have extra Minolta Carts... not familiar with the Steky's needs.

two

I am informed that you need two cartridges for the Steky. One to wind the film out of and shoot it and one that takes the film into it to store before you take it out to process it. I believe it is standard 16mm film. It is a very nice camera.

Fortunately, it came with one cartridge, now I'm just trying to figure out where/how to get another.

You do

You do what every one of us who has an ancient/oddball camera or film gizmo, you look everywhere while bleeding from the eyes.
