I am looking into procuring a new means of conveyance for my photographic equipment. (Say that fast five times.). Does anyone make such a beast in bag or pack size? Or is there a simple trick I can do all on my lonesome?

Well, much as I like giving you static, I suggest that a bag made of natural fiber, i.e., canvas, like some of the Domke's, will serve nicely.

Nice call, Fredd-O. Hadn't occurred to me. Knew there was a reason I kept you around.

I'm very impressed with canvas Domke bags Chris although they cost twice as much in the U.K than the US, the heavy duty cotton canvas is tough light weight and treated to be water resistant.

Try contacting gclaunch@staticbags.com
I just placed an order but have not received it, so I can't give a "product review" yet, but these were recommended somewhere else on this forum.
