Does anyone here know how to save a scan in sRGB with Photoshop Elements 4???

I am submitting scans to an online portfolio review, and they recommend the sRGB, and mine seem to be in Adobe RGB. These are scans of black and white work, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make in how they are viewed.

TIA

Suzanne,

PS Elements 4 allows you to convert from one profile to another, though I'm not sure what menu options are required to make the conversion. I beleive it's Edit->Convert To Profile. You can also change the default color space in the Color Settings dialog as well though that alone will not convert an image that is already tagged Adobe RGB.

Dry Creek Photo has a free download that converts embeded profiles from one to another. Look here:

I use this program to embed printer profiles when I send a batch of files to Costco online for color prints of snap shots.

Don, thank you so much for your prompt response! Turns out, when I went into the color profile, my scans are indeed already in this sRGB space! D'oh!!

I really appreciate the help and the link!!
