Anyone know anything about this developer? I have never seen it before, but the school I attend has switched from D76 to Sprint developer (well, Sprint ... everything, but I figure only the developer is critical). So far I have brouht my own developer, but I might be tempted to try it if I knew how it behaved. Is it similar to D76 in it's developing action?
Is there anything else I should know about it before using it?
I've been using it for a few years, almost exclusively. It wont cover the needs of a specifically fine grained developer, but does a good job maintaining grain on a regular basis. I've had lots of good results and great images come from their line of chemistry.
Ok, but is there any reason to choose this developer over another general use developer, such as HC110/IlfotecHC, or D76/ID11? Sprint developer is available for free at school, but always take my own HC110 bottle. If there is no advantage to Sprint other than being free, then I'm inclined to continue using HC110, which I know like the back of my hand.
