I just tried my 'new to me' Speedotron Brownline. It flashed when I used the camera to trigger it, but not when the camera was disconnected and I used the 'test' button. Is this how it works or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Assuming it works the same as my old d1602 I used to own, it should fire when you press the large square test button on top.
