Hi

I am doing some child portraits using studio flash which is generally working well
but I would like to use natural light which is not as the children can not sit still
and I don't want to fix them in some sort of brace

is there any way of increasing the paper speed or is there a fast paper
i am presently using MGIV

thanks

robin

Some papers are faster than others, but no where near the speed of film. Many wet-plate images of families have the adults sharp but the held child/infant is a blur of motion.

hi robin

im not sure if you saw this thread ...
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

It is said that Kentmere paper (also made by Ilford) is about twice the speed of Ilford's own paper.
