Wonderful! Thanks, Lee, for posting them; thaks, David, for letting us know. BTW, I have Joe's camera... I bought it on eBay for next to nothing and it still takes great pictures!

I have a few filmholders with writing on the darkslides. I think they must have been Joe's.

I like the scene toward the beginning where they're all marching in formation with Graphic cases slung over their shoulders. I think all "slow and contemplative" LF photographers need to watch Joe running around and crawling on the ground with his Graphic.

I saw that and immediately thought OMG. I look at the shoulder strap mounts on my graphic case and can scarcely imagine actually using them. But there it is, proof that at least some folks actually did.

David;

In the photo of me in my gallery, I am in my flight suit and helmet, but at my side is my trusty Speed Graphic. It was what was used to take the B&W shots. The picture of me was taken with my Nikon F, as were all of the other color picutres of aircraft. The USAF would not supply them. They cost too much.

The amazing thing was to watch that big SG float in the air as we flew a 'vomit comet' type of arc and entered zero G.

I had to rescue it out of the air in the cockpit as gravity returned.
