I bought a Speed Graphic, and the silvering on the 50% mirror was gone in the Kalart Rangefinder. I bought some replacement mirror glass and glued it in. But now the moving image is placed way above the stationary one. Is there an adjustment for this? I havent found anything addressing it online.

Do you have the service manual for the Kalart? It's online somewhere. That would be a good start. It sounds like something may have been bent when replacing the mirror? Presumably you used similar thickness mirror with similar pass/reflect properties as the original? And same side for the reflection? (first surface vs. second surface)

Which Kalart do you have? The adjustment article and manual referenced in post #3 are for the last version found on Pacemaker Graphics. There are 3 earlier versions not covered by the manual. All work the same and adjust similarly but are mechanically different. Any time you replace a mirror in any of the 4 models you have to recalibrate it.
The instructions for the Type F found on Pre Anniversary and Anniversary Speed Graphics is in the Accessories Help section of Graflex.org helpboard.

Could you please tell me where did you purchase the mirror from?
Thanks...

Where did you find the replacement mirrors> Is the silver in the front surface? Were you able to repair the Kalhart rangefinder?

Hopefully Shutterfinger post #6 will chime in, or e-mail him direct.
Seems the prices have gone sky high.. I've purchased from them in the past.. not sure if I have the right location on Edmund optics sight.
You'll have to check with the op on if he got his repaired, but got mine repaired.. works well, but I had a piece left from my original purchase, of years ago..

As demand goes down production cost per piece increase an as sales decrease the cost of storage space goes up as items that move quicker take that space for a shorter time.
Check ebay, search for beamsplitter or beam splitter. Use 50/50 for rangefinders.
