Ok searching around I have worked out that it is proable not a Miniature but a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Pacemaker. It does have various backs including 6x7 & 6x9.
Question is what are they like?
Difficult to use?
If I want to use sheet film would I have to cut down some 5x4?
Last thing can you stick filters on the Lens and or can you change the lens on these cameras and do they have to be specific to the smaller Pacemaker or can you fit other Speed Graphic lens on?
I am really fasinated by this machine and it is tempting a good case of G.A.S
Any of the 2x3 graphics are referred to as "miniature" or "baby" graphics.
Use is just like with a regular speed graphic, only smaller.
You can purchase cut film for this size from Freestyle, but film in this size is very limited. If it has a graflok back you can use 120 rollfilm with the camera.
Any lens will work that will fit on a baby graphic lensboard.
You don't mention price. I bought a 21/4 X 31/4 Speed a few years ago because, frankly, it was dirt cheap. I got hold of some sheet film, loaded up ( it came with 8 holders ) and began using it.
Filters, lenses and lensboards shouldn't prove too difficult to obtain.
As a 4 X 5 Speed Graflex veteran, I had a ball using its smaller sibling. It's still one of my favourites.
I must admit, I do chuckle a bit when I tray develop the film. It's so tiny!
