I just wanted to thank Matthew for all of his efforts involved with the new APUG logo. I'm pretty dang tough to please and I really like what he came up with, as well as the t-shirt designs we will be using. If anyone needs some graphic design work send him a pm, he's great to work with. Thanks Matthew!!

Thanks Jovo, I've been reworking the new design behind the scenes for a while now and am very happy with it, also very happy to finally get it out there. The text logo we had was lacking and when Matthew came up with the new one for us it was like the cherry on top

Awesome design! As one who fears change and is therefor even harder to please, I'm thrilled with the new design A site full of image obsessed photographers is a tough crowd you continue to please!

Kudos to Matthew!

Thanks Sean, et al..

A pleasure to do, especially for something I believe in and not just a "job".
I'll have to rework the Tshirt design some, and we'll see how the new logo fits.

Sean's efforts to keep this site fresh and always improving are part of what makes this site a worthy cause.

How Quick can I get a T-shirt, hat, or anything. I'm going to Denver on the 17th to the national exibit for a vetrans crafts competition. I get to go as I won the traditional B&W entry. I would love to have a shirt to plug the site.

I forgot to mention this in my above post...
The nice thing, (I think), or rather my criteria for this was to create something that could lend itself to a variety of imprinting methods...had to be simple but more than just text. This can be embossed or debossed, embroidered, screened, pad printed, etc., and also easily converted to color where none of the colors touched, so that eliminated conflict in some printing methods and a certain cost factor.

It is also easily inverted (reversed) out if need be. The negative/positive space aspect lent itself well considering our preferred method of addiction here...

It was a struggle, and Sean's input (rejection of several other concepts  ) and APUG'r Geary Lyons and Alan (Menacing Tourist) also gave me some input/kudos on final version. I'm happy with it.

I doubt if the tshirts are going to be available that soon (17th) but hopefully soon once the modus operandi is figured out. Thanks.
