Special moon this weekend

Apparently, having a full moon during this close swing period (what the radio called it) is fairly uncommon and might provide some good pictures.

It happens about once every 14 months. Last year's was closer. It's extremely doubtful that even a photographer would be able to detect a 1/3 stop difference in brightness or a 14% difference in size, without a "normal" moon hanging next to the "supermoon" for comparison.
 
Here we go again. Full moon is Sunday.
 
Weather cooperated this evening. Will see what the negatives look like tomorrow. Tomorrow is the full moon night. Weather may behave but this is thunder storm in evening season along the Ohio River valley.
 
It's a little different for everybody but in my locale full moon is at 5:32 AM manana so tonight is the closest.

I noticed it the evening prior and thought it might rise in line with a nearby creek. Checked TPE and it predicted a slight mis-alignment to my plan, and last night, that's what happened, which lined it up with a row of powerlines instead
