Have any of you watched any of the series "Breaking Bad?" Interesting, isn't it? What I found in my desk here could be called "Breaking Mediocre" by some, but for others it might be just what you need. This is a very nice Vivitar 2x MC Tele-Converter designed for the OM (Olympus) cameras. The glass is clear and nice, action is crisp and it comes with both caps. No damage and no real signs of use showing on it. If you don't need it for a lens adapter, consider that TV stand in your basement. Sure...the one that little Johnny sawed the left rear leg off of. That one. I'll bet this adapter could be used to prop it up very nicely. Or consider this high-tech (not to overlook Avant Garde) idea: the side wall of your refrigerator is about this same thickness I'll bet. If you have a stainless refrigerator, the side wall of it might be painted black. Why? That is a good question, but nobody really knows.
With just a bit of work with a Dremel tool and a few beers you could mount this so that with just a quick glance you could see what is in your fridge...without having to open the door! An energy saving idea that might get you worldwide recognition. The 2 pieces of glass will act just like the sort of insulated approach you need on an application like this. And the lens cover will allow your modification to look just like somebody at the factory installed it...after a few beers, naturally. Just pay me the cost of postage and you'll be on your way.
