Would appreciate feedback from members familiar with this quarterly. Content, quality of articles/images, is it analog focused or just photography of any delivery ?I

have just come across this one and have no other knowledge.

Why not buy a back issue, pay by paypal, ad have the printed version delivered to your door? You can then see if you like the content.

I am getting two issues, but looking for feedback in general, as magazines evolve over time and not always in a good way. Some that used to be good are a puke now compared to older days.

I bought Source for a while in the late '90s but found most of it far too theoretical and sort of "academic". I knew one of the editors and could never get the point of what he said to me. It could of course be different now. Its concerns are certainly not specifically Irish, mar dhea.

Thanks. I'm getting a couple of issues from later days, 2016 I think, so I'll see what it's worth. They were too cheap to resist temptation.

A quick follow up. Have received two issues from 2011. I'm not going to review them here, but it is surely not a typical photography magazine. However, catering to art students and focused on photography it is quite interesting. I may get some more vintage issues just to see consistency of content. At the same time I'm worried current version is different and not in a good way. At least judging by some samples from current form. For the money these two cost me, it was a good deal though.

Thanks for mentioning this. I am always looking for information on the contemporary scene (although I am pretty traditional myself). I put in for a subscription. It seems to be cheaper than Aperture - we'll see if it is worth the gamble!
