Hi All,

Are there any good sources for RA-4 chemistry and paper for us Canadians? I live near Toronto and don't mind picking it up if required.

Sorry for my late response to your post.
Could this help fill the needs?

The beauty behind it is that each product is also available in bigger quantity (Color dev and bleach-fixer in 1.1 liter and the starter in 100 ml bottle). The Digibase 1-liter kit can process 30 8X10.

The Adox kit can process around 230 sheet 18cmX24cm


I admit this item is not on my shelves right now, and purchase history is inexistent. I started a few years ago with B&W stuff, added C-41, E6, and now may be the time for RA-4.

I always try to maintain what is regularly asked for.
If this is of interest to you, I do not mind taking action to have it added to my catalogue.

These products are tagged 'ORM-D' but I gained some experience in the importation area, making this category of products available to Canadians photographers.

The papers are a little more delicate to maintain, but if you provide me more infos, I may try to find sources and supply it.

For chemicals, papers and films, I alway make sure items I maintain are 'hot', allowing a steady rotation.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I would probably purchase the Adox kit but that would depend on the pricing. As for your site, I have already made an account as you have a number of items that are of interest to me. I'm especially interested in the E-6 kits and the Adox Adonal (I'm down to 3 bottles of the original Rodinal) that you have in stock. Is it possible to combine shipping? Also, are you able to get ADOX ADOSTAB (formerly Sistan from Agfa)?

To answer your question in the reverse order,
1- Yes, Adostab could be available in one-liter format
2- When I ship an order, I bill the items' weight value - meaning that the packaging weight is on me. I do combine items on an eBay sale, but I rather prefer a direct sale from the website.
3- Adox Adonal is avail and soon will be Agfa/Compard R09-OneShot. Both claim being the original recipe. I aint't no chemist, but both work damned well.

I will take a closer look to this operation and come back to you later next week.

Never to forget, liquid products do have a tendency to exponentially rise the shipping costs.

There are also some shops in NY NJ area. Shipping cost should be reasonable. If you get chance to visit my area, I will be happy to share some.

US firms rarely ship liquid chemistry to Canada, sadly.

I have to say that I am very impressed with ArgentixCa's service.

I can confirm you the following, based on infos available

Adox RA-4 kit for 5 liters will sell for under 40$, quite closed to, but under.
Adostab will run around 17.75$

Prices in CAD, and subject to change without notice. I usually do not change them, unless a very special event causes it.

Availability around 2 weeks

I will keep you posted on it.
