Source for front rise gear

The front rise on my 8x10 2d stripped. Both sides gave out on me.

Both the teeth on the knob and the rack they travel on are toast. Anyone know of a place to get a replacement?

That's the way it should be with all gear.

Not sure I agree. If I had a collector's item it would see very little use and definately not field use. A collector's item is just that. A different purpose.

I think I have them left over from a 5x7 2d I cannibalized for some other parts. If so I can give them to you if you pay shipping. Can you post a pic of your camera so that I know I'm sending the right thing?

I am not 100% sure that what I have is the 2d, it says "Eastman view No. 2 Improved Model of a Century View and Empire State No. 2".....

That would be great keith. I think the knobs are smaller on the 5x7. I have one that I wil check tonight. If they are the same size I will post pics tomorrow. I will gladly pay shipping.

Then I would sell it to a collector...and get something useful instead.

I'm really allergic to collections right now.
