I don't doubt it's readily available if you're buying it from the right place, but it's not exactly a common format, so it's not reasonable to expect it to be in stock everywhere. Not all retailers carry sheet film in any format, much less that one. Heck, it's pretty difficult to walk into a retailer and find 24 exposure 35mm film. That typically is only available online from places like BH, Adorama, and Freestyle. Film is expensive enough that most retailers only carry what they can reasonably expect to move in a quarter.

There is only ONE beef I have with Ilford: they state film is AVAILABLE. Truth is IT IS NOT. ULF is NOT equal to available and they could easily state that on FP4+ page and they chose to ignore that simple fact, If it does not pay to make it in that size, don't make it. Charging through ULF more than double vs. 4x5 size is simply criminal. So Adox it is for new film, any other film is either older expired one or trimmed by own means. By now I'm fine with this solution.

Yes the trigger was a box of 50 fiberbased 50x60cm paper. This was two years ago. But this is history now, as said.
