Hi folks! New sub here and very happy to have found it.
Question: aside from my film gear, I recently picked up a Sony rz100 mkiv to have as my pocket/car cam. It's great, takes great images, BUT it's so small I find it hard to use!
Can anyone recommend an equivalent camera that's the "next size up"?
Point and shoot style, no interchangeable lenses etc?
Looking to be able to pick one up used for <500us.
Thanks for any leads to research!!!

Thanks but the next size up at Sony seems to be a huge step up in size with quite a lens sticking out in front.
Doesn't have to be Sony.

Leica Lux 3 or 5, a bit larger then the Sony, I think, well under $500 us. On the very cheap side any of the mid level Fuji Fine Pics, under a $100.

I did! I'm not even a large man. This thing (however brilliant for a pocket cam) is made for small women!

Look at one of the Fuji XT series - an older XT1 or 2, with the vertical grip, will get you a very nice, but still light and compact, camera. Throw on the 18-55 zoom and you have a very competent camera kit. And there's a whole family of amazing glass you can add to it later if you want, plus a growing array of third party lenses if you're shopping on a budget.

The Panasonic LX100 ii might be just slightly larger enough to be suitable.

Actually women can carry something bigger since they have a purse. This camera is great for men who can keep it in their shirt pocket.

Ricoh GR3x. I cannot believe how good the image quality is, and it is small but handles nicely. You don’t really need a zoom lens.
