Is there any wedding photographers here who use Sony a7R III or α9 for weddings? Any feedback? Is AF fast and accurate with NO native lenses? IS AF fast with Canon or Nikon lenses?

Thanks!

I have both and would choose the A7RM3. The advanced features on the A9 wouldn't come into play at a wedding and you might want the larger file size.
I'm not a wedding photographer but shoot a couple each year.
Years ago I made my living shooting weddings.

I have a 900 and 9, just got the 9, used, in most cases including weddings I would go with the 900, or even an 850, battery life is longer, uses standard A mount lens, lots of very good used Minolta and Konica Minolta glass, + Sony Zeiss. I just cant get over the EVF, like looking at a TV screen, but it's the wave of the Sony future. Have not used either Canon or Nikon AF so don't how the AF compares, both the 900 and 9 seem fine. I don't shoot many weddings, last one a couple of months ago, at the time used the 900, 50mm 1.7 28 2.8, 70 to 200 F4 beer can lens and 35 to 70 F4. Sony Flash worked well.
