Todays (28/10/2015) Bing home page has a photograph of a Red Deer which I think is pretty cool. I assumed it would be in the Scottish Highlands, but no, even deer are suburban these days.

I think it's because their natural habitat has now become suburbia.

Richmond Park has been a deer park (for royals to hunt, dontcherknow?) since the 17th Century.
