I ran across an ad on Craigslist today that I called about immediately. Sadly they said they already had a buyer (but they would call me if it fell through.. so far no call). I did confirm the price. Wow... any single thing on this list, except maybe the Ansco, is easily worth $50.

I've seen a few adds like that - often people emptying closets or moving, inherited items, etc. My favorite was a big Mamiya 645 with a few lenses for $75. The seller ended up turning it into an auction of sorts as they had something like 50 people get in touch the first hour. Crazy.

I think of those deals as offsetting all of the overpriced offerings, like an Agfa Shur Shot for $500.

It's nice to see that film cameras are still in demand. I really hate it when I go out shooting and strangers come up to me and ask me if film is still being made

As the number of, 'Guess what I found on Craigslist' threads-increases on the forums, the more it will be a place to miss opportunities rather than find them.

I'm old enough to remember when ebay used to be a fun place to shop...
