I'm gonna try RA-4 print next week, using Kodak RA/RT chemicals and Fuji Crystal Archive paper. I alreay got the viewing filter kit, am I in need of a good light source for examining the test prints? I will do it mostly at night so the ideal sunlight would be unavailable.
And I will process the print in trays, holding prints not by tongs but hands. Should I use the chemical resistance nitrile gloves or just the latex gloves are enough?

About film cross processing, can I re-use the chemicals for C41 films after doing some cross processing E6 film? I'm currently using Tetenal C41 5L kit, and will switch to Kodak SM chemicals after finishing this Tetenal kit.

Make sure your print is dry before examining it with the filters. Maybe you'll have to wait until the morning to see for sure about your colour balance.

Absolutely - I always used a hair dryer. I actually do the same for BW test strips to avoid mistakes due to dry down (and yes Mr Barnbaum it DOES exist otherwise your "wet up" wouldn't either!) but it's essential for color.
