Hi

The positives:
I can get PMK from silverprint in London.

The Challenges:
1. Find european stockist of "The Book of Pyro" (only B&S seem to have stock).
2. Find european stockist for Max Pyro
3. Contacting Gordon Hutchings or Bitter Dog Press to see if I could help solve the first two challenges.
4. I know that one can order stuff direct from B & S but their shipping rates to Europe are IMHO outrageously expensive.

Can anyone help solve the challenges.

for the book, search maremagnum.com or even amazon.de, amazon.uk and so on.
For the chemicals, you can order raw chemicals from any decent chemical supplier and mix your own pyro dev. Ask photographers from your country.

Amazon is worldwide and can usually get English language books to anywhere from the regional Amazon server, both new and used. Shipping is often free if you order a minimum. Search there. Also look for the Film Developing Cookbook, which has a lot of info on staining developers.

You can find a lot on the web.

Maybe you should start with what you can get easily instead of looking for MaxPyro, etc.

Lotus View Camera in Austria ( www.lotusviewcamera.at ) has Sandy King's PyroCat and PMK (my source for PMK in Europe).

Hope this helps,
