also posted for my friends over at LFForum...

I was so pleased with this little project as the snow blew sideways most of Saturday, that I created a page of images.

Caution:

You are about to enter the world of soft and/or selective focus. If you hate that stuff, simply avoid. If not, have fun and let me know what you like.

These were made with a small non-descript 5" lantern petzval of ancient and simple nature. Yes, it'll turn up in the classifieds later today. Or not. I'm still wavering.

Hey,
Just had a look at these pictures - may be simple but very beautiful.
Great effect with the lens, such smooth transisitons.

Going back for another look lol ! :munch:

How come the little green men spend so much time in Nevada?

Petzval's are magic your hands, Jim. Very nice.

Great images Jim, looks like a keeper to me!
If you are intrested in selling it, I am looking for a short Petzval.
