The northwest corner of Washington State must have something in the water .
The video reminds me of meeting with Tod Gangler, and getting to see some of his printer's proofs of some amazing three colour carbon prints.

As a bit of a coda, Drew Wiley noted in another Eggleston thread in the Books & Gallery forum, that Guy Stricherz passed away at the end of March 2025. Guy Stricherz & Irene Malli made dye transfer prints for Eggleston and the auction discussed in this thread was of proofs and master prints from their archive. According to the auction house, there are going to be various sales from their archive in 2025; but in addition to the fact that the dye transfer material is no longer available, this brings some finality to the statement that there will be no more prints of this kind.

I assume all or most of the Egglestons in the Zwirmer show were for sale. It is a commercial gallery.
