Hello,

I recently acquired some Adox MCC 110. I want to make some good quality prints out of it, so I would like to have some suggestions: do you recommend a particular developer? what about toners? how can I have warm and cold tones? Thank you for your help.

all i have used is dektol 1:2 which gave very nice, neutral results. i have not heard of anything developer wise to get a warm tone from it but others here may have more experience in that regard.

it does not respond very much to KRST at weak dilutions of 1:19 even at times of up to 15 miuntes.

Hi

I use Tetenal Eukabrom for neutral tones, which gives lovely rich deep blacks and crisp clean whites, and Tetenal Variospeed W for warm tones, which gives me a print that is equally as warm as Ilford Warmtone paper in the same developer.

I have used both Dektol and Ilford Multigrade with excelent results. With these developers the image tone is neutral with a very slight touch of warmth in it. According to description on the Fotoimpex/ADOX web-site, the paper reacts easily to both warmtone and coldtone developers. Start off with any kind of neutral developer that is easily avalable to you and see how you like that image tone. Also check out the web-site for Moersch Fotochemie in Germany as they show quite a lot of image examples of different paper/developer combinations and they also have some realy interesting developers for sale.
I enclose links for Fotoimpex and Moersch.
Good luck with an excelent paperchoice.
