So far I've had zero luck finding a solution on the web.

Godox XProII controller connects via bluetooth to phone through Godox own app. I see how's done on YT and that's all good. Except, on my iPhone device simply does not show up. Scan device in Godox Flash App feels like dead, zero found and when I press the Search Bluetooth Device in the App it does not even look like it's trying.

As per Godox device search is to be done through the app, not through iPhone bluetooth settings (I can't see any new device in there anyways)

To dispel some questions:
  • iPhone is 16 Pro and is on latest update
  • Bluetooth is ON on both devices
  • XProII is on latest firmware
  • Godox App is on latest version (there are two Godox apps capable of connecting Flash and Light, neither does anything
I have two XProII triggers for S and F, both give me same no love on this.

Never mind, got it going now. Thought I was logged in but apparently not and did not get any prompts for it until I reinstalled the app.

Oh I got it. The phone app is for setting up the Xpro II trigger. I thought it's a device to sync flash to the phone.

It pretty much does what trigger does, but in some cases it is just more convenient to access options on phone.

Also, on another matter I ran into. Godox is kind of funny company, was trying to update firmware through MacBook and the Godox trigger, with USB-C interface, connected to Mac through USB-C would not be recognised. Had to use a USB-C to A dongle and a USB- A/C cable to trick Mac into seeing it. Turned out common issue, but somehow C-C cable will not work on Mac directly, got to go through a back-to-the-past intermediate adapter 🤣
