I have already consulted the manual and google and I still have no idea what is going on. I have a Minolta Dynax 9 Body which is new to me with the DM-9 back and the grip, and the following happens:
When the "eye control" of the AF is activated, all manual exposure adjustement is dead, both wheels have no function at all. Therefore no M, no A, no S and no "creative shift" in P - the camera keeps the last exposure reading and that´s it. When the "eye control" is off (and that is the only change I am making, using the switch at the back side bottom), all M,A,S and "P-shift" functions work as expected.
Does anybody have the slightest idea what is going on? Is there a custom function I am missing, or is this a known bug?
Thanks for your help!
