It is a very well illustrated book featuring cameras from the excellent Eastman house Collection. It was written in cooperation with foremost Japanese camera institute the Japan Camera and Optical Instruments Inspection and Testing Institute. The JCII sticker is on every camera from Japanese Camera manufacturers. The book is accurate. Laid in is a four page side-stapled pamphlet, "The History of the Japanese Camera" by Mayumi Moriyama, President, JCII, Member, House of Councilors, describing the work of the JCII in preserving and cataloging the history and development of Japanese cameras and the Japanese camera industry. Hardcover, 9 x 11 3/4 inches with dust jacket. 2 ½ pounds.
