SOLD: Daiichi Zenobia folder. Heper lens (4 element Tessar-type?). Bellows good. Shutter cleaned and timed out. Lens clean with some mottling or blooming? Scale focus. Small pocket medium format. Red window film winding.
The outer lens surfaces were very dirty when I got this camera. I cleaned them and they are clean with a few minor coating marks. But there is a rainbow shimmer and mottling across the surfaces. I imagine that the coating was rubbed a bit or something, but it also looks a bit like 'blooming' on uncoated lenses. Either way, images are clean and sharp, a touch lower contrast than a Planar or later Xenar.
The covering was peeling from the front and the back. I took them off, thinking that I might cut new ones. They can be used as patterns, and I have some pebbled material that would work well that I can include with the camera for someone to cut the skins.
