For Sale SOLD The OG. The Nikon F plain prism in black w 55 1.2 SOLD

This is it. The most bad a$$ slr - film or digital - ever made. This thing has started and ended wars. Cured famine. Won a Heismann. Placed second at Nathan's hot dog eating contest (deliberately threw it because had a pie eating contest to go to later). Just the ultimate.

Black. Plain prism finder. Perfect patina with no dinged/dented in prism to ruin the look. Prism is not desilvering. Awesome and rare semi grid screen with diagonal split screen. Whatever you point this at knows to align itself correctly..
Works perfectly. Not sure why I am selling this treasure, d@mmit.

The lens? 55 1.2 non AI appropriate for this rig. Helicoils feel a little dry but no issues in use at all. Waddya expect, Leica smoothness? No man, this thing has seen stuff! Glass is nice. I'm sure there must be a bit of dust in there but whaddya expect given where it's been? (the mall, starbucks, maybe an in-n-out).

DO NOT PUT COLOUR FILM IN THIS THING!!! That's for amateurs and IG poseurs. Load this puppy up w TriX and shoot it at 1600. Grain it up baby. Slap it silly w harsh contrast. Go git yerself a Pulitzer...

That's a nice later finder that takes nice threaded diopters. And you have a modern F3 rubberized round eyepiece. This won't last long.

Hey real men don't put wussy hand grips on the likes of a black NIKON F!!!! Just joking, a tiny bit, lol. Started my PJ career with a beast just like that! It sometimes wore a Honeywell potato masher flash when it wanted to go fancy.
