Ok, not really but man o man he would have rocked this kamera!. Look at that stunning white leather! It's white, it's Russian, The Dood's drink of choice is a White Russian. So...
Camera is sweet, works perfectly and of course is an attention getter. Has the 6x6 mask inside (which of course you can remove to take 6x9 pics). Comes with the case.

But wait there's more... yeah that white leather is all sorts of awesome. But I also have a tartan leather kit for it! I do, it's true! Not kidding. Swear on yo momma's mumu!

How much for this one of a kind with second set of highland clothes folder? Fedka has the boring black ones for $150 + tax + $33 to ship!

Me? Because we are friends, or should I say, komrads, $120 Shipped/pp. Including the literally impossible to find tartan leathers.

p.s I bought this camera from Fedka a few years ago.

My Pentax with the same tartan, to give you an idea:

You'd need a set of matching spats to shoot properly with that camera...

If I hadn't just bought a view camera... I've got a Holga with a matching outfit, they could go out together!

Donald. Don't let that stop you. Interestingly I have this also posted on pentaxforums and I got hate mail. Some dope was really upset at my text. Not kidding. I replied in a snarky manner, i.e. my usual, and the moderators deleted both comments. But at least kept the ad up!

Wow. Amazing what people can be hypersensitive about! Gee, I had better never post a picture of the Yashica D that I gave my friend and he re-skined it in gaffer tape! Might cause an International Incident...

Nah, he was upset that I spelled 'custom' as 'kustom' (even though that is a SoCal hotrod term), and called the kamera (also upset about that) White Russian, saying I was insulting an ethnicity. Even though he was freaking clueless about The Big Lebowski reference etc etc. Some people's children...

Well, as one who used to drink White Russians, that term certainly wouldn't offend me (but then, I'm old enough to remember before half the Loony Tunes library was banned).

I'm letting the recent view camera purchase stop me because I've spent my allowance for this month. Now, if you still have it in a couple weeks, and would consider a no-lens first-gen Graphic View (the one the Graphic View II is replacing) with some spare parts for a trade, we might have to talk.

That M5 is less versatile than the Century Graphic I got a couple weeks ago, but much lighter and more compact, and ergonomically a little easier to use. I had a Moskva 5, sold it about 15 years ago, so I know what they can do (assuming everything's in good shape). But I need to keep some money around in case my car (with 140,000 miles) needs a repair or one of the dogs gets hurt or sick...

That....that LX.

That tartan. Them....together.

I'M IN LOVE.

Seriously man, that's the camera for me. Unbelievable!

Do you also like the alternate red/white PENTAX? I did that for that 1960s 'filmed in Technicolor' look!

It's funny, this LX gets the most comments when I use it. It also was serviced by Erik last year. Currently it has the correct grip on it, the one in the pic was before I could source that.

The Dood rocks a Widelux....
View attachment 282600

I love his work! His website featuring it turned me onto the Widelux. I bought two - F7 and F8. And absolutely hated them!
Could not stand the ergos. Could not stand the limited shutter speeds. Much preferred all the other pano cameras I had - the Horizons and the Noblex. My Fuji Xpan2/TX2 doesn't count as it is not a swinger.

It is extremely hard to remove unless you have a nickel handy. Or a penny. But the nickel fits better and frankly is classier.
I think tradition holds it was a 10 Yen coin. If you have a yen for such things. I always wanted a LX, no Scots tartan though.
