For Sale SOLD Stunning Harry Fleenored Rolleiflex 2.8E SOLD

This is about the nicest Rolleiflex 2.8 I've seen outside my 60 Anni GX.
Harry Fleenor serviced, Planar lens, everything is smooth and awesome.
I bought this model BECAUSE it did not have the meter. Couple of reasons - looks better (no carbuncle bulging out of the side), and most of those old meters are unreliable anyway. Cue 'my meter works splendidly' response!

No dents, dings, scratches. Looks stunning cuz it is. The only place I see wear is on the film crank trim ring surround, where if you look closely some of the finish has worn off. But that's it. Everything else is frankly in incredible shape given its age.

As for the lens - its the Planar. "Nuf said. Glass is in as good a condition as you could expect given the age. I don't see marks on it, and the pics have always come out, well, perfect. Someone looking extremely closely may see something but I don't.

Focus screen has a couple of specks on it, but I don't want to touch it. Does not effect usage in anyway, nor is noticeable in actual use.

Comes with the leather case in excellent shape, a very recent original Rollei neckstrap in very new shape, the original lens cap that shows a bit of wear, and a lens hood (Rolleiflex original).

Harry Fleenor service. Superb mechanical and cosmetic condition. Own and use a superlative example of this legend.

Lol. Nah, I have to use my GX, it's just sitting there waiting. And the only way that is going to happen is if I sell this one.
I'm really trying to pare down my gear.. So much of everything..
But if no takers, then I'm still happy!

You're selling some damned fine gear, Huss. This one isn't for me because I shoot a Mamiya 7 II, but someone is going to get a superb camera.

Yeah, if it doesn't sell then no probs. This thing is gorgeous in cosmetically and mechanically so there are worst things than keeping it!. Just I really should use my GX - and frankly too many cameras.
The one thing - the shutter release is so buttery smooth compared to the FX/GX where they also trigger the light meter.

Leave it in the bag if you’re traveling by air. We don’t need Huss face down on the tarmac.

I had, at one time, a 2.8F planar with just about every accessory, which I sent to Fleenor to spruce up. I sold it. I regret it. Sellers remorse.
