It was a toss-up between keeping this or an Ektar. I could keep either, they're very close in just about every comparison. So I flipped a coin, the Xenar lost.
I'm not thrilled about selling this lens, it took me a long time to find a 12" f/4.5 coated Xenar in good condition. But Ektars are getting even harder to find.
Serial number puts this lens at around 1959.
In excellent condition with no issues.
Glass is clean with only very minor cleaning wisps and some dust. No haze or fungus or any kind of blemish. Clean and clear glass.
Shutter works at all speeds, the faster speeds run slow, based on my film testing. I don't have a shutter speed tester.
I count a 19-blade diaphragm, pretty remarkable.
Includes flange (89mm diameter).
Wehman lens board can be included for $50 more.
