For Sale SOLD! Rosal 125mm f/4.9 Lens

For sale is a Rosal 125mm f/4.9 lens in excellent condition. This is a somewhat uncommon lens. There are no references to it anywhere, and I've seen only two other examples in the same focal length. It is quite tiny, weighing only 144 grams! Filter size looks like 32.5mm. The small size means that it can remain mounted on most field cameras even when folded up. Coverage is surprisingly good. I mounted the lens on a Rittreck 5x7 and it illuminated the screen fully. On the whole plate (6 1/2 x 8 1/2) back it vignetted to about 5x7. I conclude that it will just about cover 5x7. The lens throws a crisp image on the ground glass. The lens appears to be single-coated. The glass is clean, and the shutter works properly. I'll find some generic caps.
