Hi John, Nice lens photos, I don't understand "Sharpest you can get at 1.4, yet OOF is butters" but for whatever reason, the model results look like worse than if they were taken on a Kodak Instamatic 25 and enlarged on a milk bottle lens, not something that should be capable of a resolving a few hundred LPM or 10K PPI - Something went wrong on the upload/export for sure. - Could you post a RAW please? - Thanks!

those are film black and white photos. Maybe the upload decreased perceived sharpness / rendering.

there are tons of sample images online however. . A quick search should help you.
