For sale is a working Leica M3 double stroke rangefinder camera, ser. no 896054, with a collapsable 50mm f2.8 Elmar lens. The camera is in good working condition, winds and unwinds smoothly, has a very good finder patch and the shutter, with excellent curtains, is in good working order. There are no dents or major scrapes, just signs of normal wear. The vulcanite is in fine condition with only two small spots missing. There are no scratches, haze or fungus on the lens and it focuses smoothly. Also included is a very nice Italian leather strap and an Aki-Asahi leather recover skin if you choose to recover.
The previous owner had the camera serviced but in the several years that I've had it I've not felt the need to do so.
