For Sale: This listing is for an M42 mount 37mm f/2.8 Mir-1B that is in pristine shape. The lens design is based on the Carl Zeiss Flektogon and comprises of 6 elements in 4 groups. It can focus as closely as .7m but that distance can be reduced with the set of 3 extension tubes that are M42 mount and compatible with the Mir-1B. One of the attached photos shows this. The lens was CLA’d prior to my purchase from Ukrainian eBay vendor GloryUkraine. This lens was one of several which I have purchased from him and all were very nice. The glass is clean and anything resembling specks in the photos is the result of the impurities in the background paper of the photo setup. The Mir’s glass looks very nice when viewed with a bright LED flashlight. The blades are clean and the focus is smooth. The click-stop aperture is on the tight side but I suspect that is the nature of the design. As I said it was CLA’d prior to my purchase 2 years ago. The exterior body is lovely as can be seen in the photos. It comes with front and rear caps and the extension tubes are also included. In addition I will offer one of the 3 lens adapters as listed below:
