Minoxes-es break. Fact of life. Built like Ritz crackers. Which is a huge bummer as the lens on the Minox 35 is just lovely.
So what some peeps have done is bust open their deceased dears (using a walnut cracker apparently is the tool of the trade), and delicately put them in a beautifully made mount (something that Miyazaki did and would charge one beelion dollars).
Or glue them into a random metal LTM mount. Like mine.
The bad first. Aperture is really fiddly to adjust as it is buried in the mount to make sure the lens is seated at the correct distance from the focal plane. When physics meets cheapskate, this is the result. Works but ugly.
The good. You get to use a Minotar 35mm 2.8 lens in any camera that uses the LTM mount, or an M mount camera with an LTM-M adapter, or pretty much any mirrorless camera out there.
The bottom line - $50 + $10 shipping. I paid double that cuz I'm a dope.
