nothing wrong with this tripod, I just have too many and it's the one that doesn't get used.
Legs: Everything tightens loosens the way it should, all leg locks are solid. The is the 90 degree model, which has proven to be a nice thing to have. I would recommend a set weight of some type. Image 4 has the adjustment tool.
Head: IMO Best head Manfrotto made, the 3047. This set up will hold your 8x10 or a Canon Demi EE 17 and with the 3047 it's all right there and super easy to use, not to mention the quick release was a design that could not be improved upon. You can see the 2nd image it has the larger 3/8 bolt.
