I was surprised how well this lens performed.
It's quite sharp, especially in the middle, and by closing down the aperture to only f/5.6 it produces a wonderfully smooth image with plenty of sharpness and tonality. Beautiful blur.
Shooting it wide open gets you the swirlies, which is fun on occasion.
Minimum focus distance is only 18 inches. Corners are deliberately darkened, it's part of the look of this lens.
This fully covers my GFX sensor, so it will have no trouble with 35mm or FF DSLR coverage.
Shoot a Petzval without the hassle of setting up those bulky 8x10 cameras!
In mint minus condition, glass is flawless, one pinprick-sized nick on the barrel.
Includes caps and box. For Canon EF mount, and if you use a different system, this only needs a dumb adapter, which typically costs $30 or so.
Selling because I already have a lens in this focal length and my poor camera bag is saying "Enough!"
