For Sale ***SOLD*** Leica Summicron 50mm DR with Goggles and front/rear caps $995

Selling a great little 50mm Summicron DR lens with goggles. Takes great images, but I just leave the 35mm on my M3 at all times, so have no use for it. Images look wonderful with this lens. Zero complaints. Not perfect but functions fine.

It had a CLA in 2018 by Youxin Ye. Here are his detailed comments regarding condition:
"Optics - the glass is haze and fungus free. Cleaning marks are present on the front lens coating. Light dust may be present in the elements, but overall very clean internally.

Mechanical – the focus is smooth across the range. Crisp aperture adjustment. Aperture blades show some wear but function as new.

Cosmetics – overall clean with signs of use, but not abuse. Light cosmetic scratches in some areas. Slight nicks on the outside of the filter ring – the ability to attach filters isn’t impacted. The lens hood is showing wear but is completely functional."

Still for sale I think. Almost tempted to keep it, but I just know I won't use it. Goggles are in excellent condition. No case for them. Feel free to message me an offer if you like.

Summaron 2.8 with Goggles, yes, but have the Zeiss Biogon 35mm f/2.8 coming Monday to try out. One of the two will be sold.

I had the 2.8 Biogon at it really is a great lens. The problem was at the same time I had a LTM 3.5 Summaron and a 2.0 Summicron ASPH. The Zeiss has a lot going for it. Great color rendition, a nice little focusing nub and one third stops. If you use filters, the 43 mm filter size is a pain because I really didn’t want to carry one set of 39 mm for most of my lenses and a set of 43 mm for one lens. I ended up selling it but was glad to have had the chance to use it fora while.
