Hello again,

Up for sale is a small batch of expired Ilford HP5+ 35mm motion picture film. I have (3) 400ft cans available, all unopened and factory sealed. The manufacture date is 2004. (Disclaimer: I have never shot or tested this film, but since receiving it 5+ years ago it has been stored in a cool, dark place and left undisturbed.)

Asking $60 per roll plus shipping (CONUS only), PayPal only please. PM if interested, thanks!

Hi trendland,

Unfortunately not that cool! Film was in a storage cabinet in an air conditioned room for years; when it was given to me it was stored in a closet in my home. Hope this helps, cheers.

.......... that means your stuff have never seen a refrigarator since 2004. At least 13 years ?

Am i right ? If it is stored at room temperature constantly over the time and had never seen much
higher temperatures it might be oK.

HP5 is an extremly reliable film - works under deadly conditions - I saw prints of a HP5 out of a camera
since 1980 loaded - they were not so bad - but also not realy good.

sorry I have some films on 152m rolls - but your price seems to be ok.

good look for selling.

I couldn't say for sure because I didn't acquire the film until 2010, but yes, to err on the side of caution it's best to presume that the rolls have only been kept at room temperature up to this point. I agree that HP5+ is resilient and I've worked with expired stock before, but since I never shot any of this batch of film I can't attest specifically to how well it has held up.

Have a short look on the price list from Ilford.
Its $80,- for a brand new 100ft. roll 35mm Film.

Your price is $60,- to 400ft that would
make normaly $320,- to one of yours.

And your HP5 are factory saled - they are no "recans" never loaded in camera.

Perhaps it has lost 1/2 stop over the years - But your price is absolute fair.
