Up for sale is a clean Graflex Crown Graphic Special (early to mid-60s vintage) top rangefinder 4x5 camera, with the proper 135mm f4.7 Schneider Xenar lens, in a Synchro-Compur #0 shutter. The camera is clean (I would rate it an 8 of 10, which means there are some scratches and general wear, but very nice considering the age). Lens glass is clean, and the shutter was CLAed a couple of years ago. That said, I think the 1 second setting is a tad fast, but other speeds seem OK to my ear. Comes with fresnel installed in front of the ground glass, and an ersatz third party strap (obviously not original, but serves the purpose). Rangefinder is accurate and cammed properly. Infinity stops will need readjustment for the Xenar, as I was using it with a different lens lately. Also comes with the Graflite flash, and several extras: 3 sets of infinity stops, a wide lens for the viewfinder, two additional lensboards with 35mm hole). Everything functions fine, with the exception of the battery (there's no longer a battery there, just a black wooden block), and therefore the illuminator doesn't work. It does have the battery door. Also the picture of the front of the camera shows it without the actuator arm (which is pictured with the wide angle viewfinder accessory). I have reinstalled it on the camera and it functions as intended.
Asking $449 + shipping / insurance for all of the above. SOLD
In addition, the following are also for sale separately:
Grafmatic 6 sheet film holders (model 1268) - I have three that work fine, including the frame numbering wheel. They all are cosmetically 7 of 10, so have a fair amount of cosmetic wear. $60 each+ shipping / insurance SOLD
Grafmatic 6 sheet film holder (model 1268) - this one works most of the time, but I've had it jam on me occassionally, and I'm not sure why. The frame number wheel works. Condition is 7 of 10. Useful for the septums, which are unbent, at very least. $40+ shipping / insurance SOLD
Also three modern, multicoated lenses, all on Graflex Pacemaker Crown Graphic lensboards. All have clean glass and the shutters sound properly timed. The shutters are Copal of various vintages (refer to photos) and sizes (#0 and #1). All come with non-original front and rear caps (most push-on, some snap-in).
Rodenstock 135mm f5.6 Sironar-N in Copal #0 - $225 + shipping / insurance. SOLD
