If you've been reading about the mystique and romance of the Goerz Dogmar lenses but can't afford the nutty prices on the big 8X10 sizes, why not get this one and give it a go on 4X5?
They are a dialyt design, super sharp, but the contrast is what's different about them. They're fairly low in contrast and the result is an illustrator like image. Like the pictures you see in 1940's WWII era factory manuals. They are superb for indoor black and white images where you want beautiful detailed shadow areas that go on and on.
The shutter is working beautifully. Covers 4X5 with good movements.
SOLD!. + maybe something for the mailman
