Here's another "I want this to go to a good home" offer. This one is a bit sad for me, as I loved this camera while I was using it...but I haven't used it since 2013, so it makes no sense to hold onto it anymore. It's the first edition of the X100, the only one with a non-X-Trans sensor, and despite its plenty of quirks it's a great camera. Something about the colors SOC in RAW is just better than any other digital camera I've used.
It comes with a myriad of extras that came with my original purchase (from its original owner):
- A 3rd-party filter adapter, currently attached
- A B&W UV filter (I've left the whatever-you-call-it ring that was originally in the place of the filter adapter screwed into the back of this filter, just to keep everything together)
- A genuine Thumbs-Up thumb grip. Is it any better than the $20 knock-offs? No idea. But the most recent eBay sale for one was $75, so I guess it's worth something!
- A soft release button that tends to come a bit unscrewed over time.
- Two third-party hoods, one silver, one black. Since I'm sure you've always wanted to be able to match your hood color to your mood. Both of these fit a bit loosely, but they stay on fine. Can't say I've ever actually used one, since the filter adapter is pretty hood-ish.
- A custom leather neckstrap from a leather strap guy whose name I forget. I gather this was also pretty expensive.
- 3 OEM batteries. I charged up one of them just to test the camera out, so they all probably still function, but after 7 years of disuse I can't imagine they'll hold a charge for long.
- The manual and CD, the latter of which I'm sure you'll use constantly.
- The charger and extension cable. Note that they designed these chargers with a weird little removable plastic bit that holds the battery in. Try not to lose it!
I've also got the original fancy satin box that the camera came in, but I've lost the outer box. Oh, and there's a hard screen protector over the LCD that has plenty of scuffs on it.
Asking $265 plus shipping (probably $12-15). A lot are going on eBay for $300+ so I think it's a fair price!
